What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a natural substance found in the cannabis plant. It’s one of many naturally occurring compounds called phytocannabinoids, which produce most of the plant’s health effects. In most cases, CBD is extracted from hemp, a low-THC variety of cannabis.
How much CBD should I give my pet?
There is no ideal CBD dosage that will work for all pets. It depends on how much your pet weighs, the benefits you’re hoping to achieve, and other factors. We recommend starting your four-legged companion with 1-2 drops (2.5-5 mg of CBD). Pay close attention to your pet’s progress. If you don’t notice the desired effects, increase the dosage as needed
What is the endocannabinoid system?
Dogs, cats, and many other animals have an endocannabinoid system (ECS) just like us. This system regulates vital processes such as immunity, inflammation, and brain function to maintain a state of internal balance called homeostasis. CBD can produce beneficial effects by interacting with the ECS.
Do your products have medicinal benefits for pets?
Green Factor’s CBD products are not intended to cure, treat, or diagnose any symptom or disease in pets.
Can I give my pets regular CBD oil?
Yes, but it’s not recommended because dogs and cats require much smaller doses of CBD than humans and are more sensitive to THC, which can be present in full-spectrum products.
Will CBD make my pet high?
No, CBD cannot get you or your cat or dog high because it’s a non-intoxicating compound.
Is CBD safe and legal?
Preliminary research in cats, dogs, and other animals indicates that CBD is a very safe substance. CBD products are legal in the UK as long as the CBD is extracted from EU-approved hemp varieties and contains no more than 1 mg of THC per container. CBD is also legal in many other European and North American countries.
How can CBD help your pet?
CBD can help your cat or dog stay calm and relaxed, support healthy joints and skin, and promote overall health and well-being.
What is CBD oil?

How much CBD is in a pipette dropper?
Our CBD oil comes with a pipette dropper to make it easy to calculate the dose. Simply squeeze the rubber and release to fill. When full, the dropper holds about 1 ml of CBD oil or 20 drops, which is equivalent to 50 mg of CBD or 2.5 mg per drop.
There are many product choices if you’re interested in buying CBD oil for your pet in the UK. But not all pet CBD products are made equal.
Many companies simply put a different label on their regular CBD oil and sell it as a pet-friendly option, while others offer inferior products that contain less CBD than advertised. Some also contain notable amounts of THC, which may be particularly toxic to dogs.
As a result, you have to be careful and look for reliable, high-quality products. Our pets deserve the very best, which is why Green Factor takes the same care when formulating pet CBD oil as we do with our regular products.
Our CBD is sourced from only the finest organic, non-GMO hemp grown in the US and Europe. These plants are extracted using carbon dioxide (CO2), the gold standard method of CBD extraction.
Next, the THC is removed to make a broad-spectrum extract providing the full range of cannabinoids, terpenes, and other beneficial hemp compounds.
This extract is combined with another clean, natural ingredient — coconut MCT oil — to craft our CBD tinctures for pets.
As a final step, we send our products for testing at an independent laboratory. The results of these third-party test reports are available directly on our website, so you can rest assured knowing that your furry friend is getting a safe and effective CBD oil.
